UNREAL CONCEPT
This project was an environment concept scene built and rendered in Unreal. Environment assets and foliage assets were taken from the Unreal marketplace. Set dressing, lighting, and composition was done from scratch.
INITIAL DESIGN PROCESS
Using the asset packs available, the project was started with the aim of producing an outdoor environment, mostly of nature, with elements of man made structures. The differing architectural and artistic styles of the different building packs gave the concept for a contrasting environment that suggests towards a conflicting history in the narrative of the scene.
Initial concept for a solidary shrine embedded in an abandoned rocky environment
Completing the rough environment, finishing the surrounding area and general atmosphere
Adding foliage and other small set details
Adjustments to the set and reworking lighting
